Erasmus+ Project:
New methods for senior
learning communities
The project, which ran from 2024-2025, focused on training trainers and workers with elders to increase their competences and share good approaches with project partners.

The vision of the project was to take the work with senior learning communities to a new level.
The aim of the project was to strengthen the readiness of organisations for educational work with seniors on the topics of digital skills and the related inclusion in the learning communities of seniors. We wanted to achieve this by deepening the competences of trainers and educators in working with digital tools as well as in the ability to work with older adults.
We have helped to create space for adult learning and increase its quality and accessibility. Through this project, we want to introduce innovations and new methods of working with seniors into the learning centres and thus increase their attractiveness.

The primary target group of the project was trainers and lecturers working with seniors and older adults. We believe that by increasing the quality of their work and preparedness, we have also increased the quality of educational events for seniors and the participants’ satisfaction with their continuing education.

During the project we carried out a number of activities, study visits and trainings that strengthened the staff with seniors and helped them to increase their competences.
